Ah, the holiday season has arrived, and we're ready to celebrate! That's right, this Sunday is GROW's Christmas program. Come share and enjoy some scrumptious food, traditional goodies, nostalgic stories, lighthearted music-making, German and English carols, and more. No business meeting this time; just fun and Gemütlichkeit. The more, the merrier, so bring family and friends!
There'll also be a cookie exchange fundraiser, so if you can, please bring 2–4 dozen cookies to eat and allow members to buy up to 3 lbs. of various cookies for $5. Bring any 3-lb. coffee can with a lid for members to make their purchases after your refreshments.
Post-Meeting Update: Thank you to all those who came for the Christmas program and helped to make it such a delightful time. For those who could not attend, GROW President Roger Haas's meeting summary can be found on the Newsletters & Meetings page as always, and here you can view the slideshow on the Belsnickel and St. Nicholas which Larry Kuntz shared with us.
Again, we truly appreciate your participation and look forward to seeing you all in 2015! Frohe Weihnachten und ein glückliches neues Jahr!

Come out and join us on Sunday, August 24th at Willamette Park in West Linn for this year's GROW picnic. Bring along your best foods and drinks (alcohol permitted) and share in some GROW Gemütlichkeit. This year we're also looking forward to the European Take-Out Band playing for us. We hope to see you there!
Time: 11 a.m.–6 p.m. (members can come as early as 9 a.m. and stay as late as 8 p.m.)
Location: Willamette Park • 1100 12th St. • West Linn, Oregon.
Our exact location at the park will be the Wetland Shelter (far right on this site map), right by the parking lot.
Once you get to the park, take the main entry road all the way down into the park until you get to the main stop sign in the park (fairly close to the boat ramp to the Willamette River). Turn left and then go for about a block past a large restroom to get to the Willamette Wetland Shelter with its covered cooking and sitting area. You can park right next to the covered sitting area.
See this page for the park description, directions, and maps.
