A Special thank you to the Hartfeil Brothers for your stories of your journey to America. We enjoyed laughing & crying with you about your experiences both here & abroad. We were blessed to have you be able to tell your stories from your heart and enjoed seeing the many pictures that helped us get a sense of what it must have been like to come to America at such a young age. If you are willing, we're sure to enjoy more stories again some day!

On Sunday, April 23 at the GAS Deutsches Haus, GROW and AHSGR will hold a JOINT meeting with Lea Duda giving a presentation of "My Donau Schwabian Family".  Steve Schreiber, the AHSGR President, will introduce the speaker.

June 22nd Chapter Meeting - Webinar: German Internet Research

This Sunday at our chapter meeting we'll be presenting a webinar (seminar via the web), called "German Internet Research: A Launching Place for Your Research", which you can preview here.


As we won't be getting together again until the August picnic (see announcement above), we hope all the more that you'll be able to come join us this Sunday!

May 18th Chapter Meeting - Speaker: Honorary German Consul Robert T. Manicke

Join us this Sunday at 2pm in the Deutsches Haus's Max Kada Auditorium for our May chapter meeting. We'll be having a guest speaker, Honorary German Consul Robert T. Manicke, and then refreshments. If you're able to come, we'd love to see you there!
